Big Update!

 A New Chapter 🧋

MI (my) Boba opened in September 2021 and quickly became a staple in the local Kalamazoo drink community.  The Nash family poured so much into building this space, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything Caitlin and her family have done to make MiBoba a true Kalamazoo favorite.

As of April 12th, 2026, Maureen and TJ Hanel are excited to be the next family to carry that legacy forward.

We didn't take on this shop to just sell drinks-we wanted to create a place people actually want to be.

​

As a busy family with 4 kids, full time careers, and deep roots in this community, we were looking for something more than another investment.  We wanted a space where people could slow down, connect, and feel at home-whether that's students catching up, or families stopping in after a long day.

​

Mi Boba is our way of bringing that to life.  It's a place our own kids are proud of, where their friends gather, and where we get to know the people who walk through our doors.  Every drink and treat we serve is part of something bigger: building community, supporting local, and creating a space that feels like yours as much as it does ours.

Our goal is simple: keep everything you already love, while thoughtfully building on it.
